Sue them. At best, they'll have a dangerous dog put down. That way it won't be free to attack a small child. I love animals, but someone could really get hurt.

i'm sorry, but you're an idiot. it's people like who you give pitbulls bad names. You realize this dog came to you when you called it? If it were a bloodthirsty monster it would have killed you at first sight. Dogs don't have hands, they have their mouths, you put your hand out to it, it puts its hand to you.

The owners should really pay for your medical bills, and if you don't pursue it you're foolish. I know people are trying to say you're an idiot, but if you have no experience with animals like that, and someone left you in care of an animal you didn't know anything about, I can't say that's exactly your fault. You could have declined watching the animal, but because you were on their property, they are liable for your injury. But if you do nothing about it, then that's what will happen.

you deserved it. pitbulls are extreamly nice dogs. you just dont know how to act around dogs. its societys fault they have a bad image, not theirs. i mean look at cesar millan(dog whisperer) he has alot of pits that are very good pets.

Tell the neighbor they are paying your medical bills if they don't want you to report the incident to animal control (who will likely have the dog put down).

I know this sounds bad but the dog should get put down. it us rare to find a dog of that breed with a calm nature.
