Sounds to me like the boyfriend sent the text, waited 20 seconds, and when he didn't get an immediate reply he forgot about it and went off to find something else to amuse himself. Then when the mother saw the reply, he was annoyed at himself for doing something stupid but didn't want to admit it, so he blamed his girlfriend with a lame excuse. If this is the case, your boyfriend is a dumbass, OP.

Your boyfriend is a moron. If you're going to send dirty texts and whatnot you have to be extra careful showing your phone to anyone else. It's his fault his mother saw. He's just being a little baby by trying to pin the blame on you.
