Badass

Today, my friend invited me to his boxing club for the first time. Since I'm somewhat short and scrawny-looking, he was worried that the workout would be too difficult for me. I waved him off and told him that I was tougher than I looked. Five minutes into class, I sprained my ankle. FML

Just because you're little doesn't mean that you are weak. I was the smallest guy in my platoon in bootcamp and still beat the shit out of my opponents when we did body sparring. Bad luck on the ankle sprain but come back once you are healed and show them what you are made of!!

Although his reasoning is off, still listen too the experts OP. Although possibly a coincidence it could have been avoided, injuring yourself just makes training harder. Take it easy and build it up!

OP don't let that discourage you, persevere and keep on training..

I don't mean to be mean, truly I don't. But when approaching any new exercise program the key is to be cautious and strive to avoid injury, even at the risk of seeming almost "wimpy." Injuries can sometimes have unexpected lifelong effects.

Sprained ankle happens to anyone. Not just scrawny people

Spraining an ankle doesn't make you "weak". It can happen to the strongest people. If you had punched someone and said "ow" then it would be a different story.

I did several Martial Arts. bind your ankle and keep going. no time for bitchin. serve them all a twisted ass v

You tried to be Little Mac, but you became Glass Joe.
