#20 That's very simple - people commonly lump others together based on superficial inspection. They just ASSUMED that he was as racist as his brother. To spell it out: a bunch of bigots beat up a bigot and his brother due to being upset at their perceived bigotry. Compare "we don't take kindly to people who don't take kindly around here".
