There is no one person who will be your “true love”. There are only people who we fit best with and who are also interested in us. Love grows from this…
Look, a relationship is a two-way street. You could literally have done everything within your power to be a good, loving, attentive partner, but if your ex was in no way interested in reciprocating, then there's nothing that would have made that happen. I mean, that's everyone's right - To not want to pursue/be in a relationship with any one specific person. Regardless: It's not your fault. Don't worry about "the one". There isn't a definitive "the one". But there are plenty of someones out there who would and will work with you to build a mutually healthy and satisfying relationship. Find someone who will match your energy. Find someone who wants to be with you and make you happy and who you want to be with and make happy. Look for one of them.
