Better out than in

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2015 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, some wannabe molester actually used the "Do you know who my dad is?!" line on me as I threw him out of a club. Turns out his dad is my boss's brother. I'm now searching for a new job. FML

You may be out of a job, but you saved someone from a traumatic experience. Keep your head up OP, good things will come your way.

No way you could have known OP. I wish you the best of luck finding a job

Thank You for doing the right thing, OP. =) It sounds like that whole family is full of asshats. Hoping good things come your way soon!

We need a follow up OP. Hope you kept your job!

Let's play a game of spot the one who didn't actually read the FML!

Guys, I'm pretty sure she meant a follow up on the job search...

Her comment clearly states "hope you kept your job" so no that's not what she meant.

Just think, now you can go to the club as a patron and you don't have to be as gentle when dealing with that kid.

I don't think I'd ever start becoming a patron at the (exact) place I'd just been fired from. Then again, I live on the opposite side of town from where my job is. They wouldn't miss me.

That guy is probably going to end up in jail real soon with his rapey god complex.

As many have said before, at least you saved the girl from some trauma. Now that you're fired for being a decent guy though, you should find your boss' nephew and mess him up...... SNITCH'S END UP IN DITCH'S

Not gonna lie, it took me a while to process that...

I presume you were club security. So you basically got fired for doing your job. FYL.
