Blankity Blank

Today, I finally got to conduct my first questioning of a suspect, who had been arrested in connection with a car theft. As I recited the Miranda warning to him, my mind went totally blank, and after a few seconds, he sarcastically continued the speech for me. FML

I find it hilarious that he knows it well enough to recite under pressure yet its your job to remember it and you mindblanked.

Uhh, I think they are called Miranda rights, not warnings. I'm not surprised you can't remember them if you aren't cognizant of the difference between rights and warnings.

You have the right to remain stupid

I have never been arrested and I know the Miranda Rights by heart. Thank you, TV and movies.(:

well people know most of the words. don't b so hard on yourself

I have the right to have an attorney present. If I give up that right, I get to run while you count 10 Mississippi...

You need to watch the COPS TV Show much, much, much more often.

Sounds like he may have heard It a few times. Don't worry about it. It will eventually become second nature to you

So are you the hunk or are you the "real slim shady"?

I would ask him how many times he has been arrested..
