Didn't you check your revision mirror to check on her any of the way home?? I always look in the revision mirror to check on the baby!
My thoughts exactly! And if the child is young enough to be in a car seat, those things are usually visible in the rear view mirror.
You should tell her not to use her invisibility powers in public.
How do you go somewhere to pick up a child, and not even make sure you put them in the car? Especially when she was the whole reason you went there...?
Omg! Count your lucky stars if nothing bad happened to the baby. I've heard so many past horror stories about dazed parents leaving their kids in hot cars and the outcomes being fatal. What you did was just as bad if not worse. Pay better attention from now on! *had to hold myself back from cursing you out!*
Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
Show it anywayshe didn't say it was worse than a dead baby... she said it could've been worse than leaving a child in a hot car.
Correct 40-- Of course not worse than a dead baby. I meant being neglectful with someone else's child. Don't take on the responsibility (especially if they're not your kids) if you can't do it correctly. Sometimes my English gets screwed up and I forget to write down all my thoughts while trying to avoid writing too long of a comment.
The outcome here could have been fatal. Or the kid could have been taken by some perv or sold into slavery. Those are worse than death.
I feel bad for that child. Did you get sidetracked or something OP?
And godmother of the year award goes to!
Rule number one with kids: Always be suspicious when things get really quiet. Either mayhem or sleep is happening. In your case, it's probably best you just stay away from kids altogether.
Hilarious!!! I guess you won't be asked to pick her up again. But seriously how could you not realise she wasn't on the car?
this is one of my biggest fears!!! this is why I always check and make sure my kids are in the car
