79 - meh, we call them the family jewels in the US, too -- just depends on preference. and OP, do whatever you're comfortable with, because there will always be people who like it that way no matter what you choose.

Both men and women should groom before going on a date. It's a general rule that if you think someone is going to be seeing your fun place, you should clean it up as courtesy to the other person. I'm not specifically talking to you OP nor am I saying hair on a woman is gross, this is just a heads up to everyone.

Having hair down there is natural, obviously. But liking girls to shave doesn't make you a pedophile. I don't think a woman should have to shave down there if she chooses not to, and he was an ass to say it to you in such a harsh way. On the other hand, if it was highly excessive hair, then maybe you could just trim it back? I mean, I have no problem with a guy having hair, but I also shave myself because I prefer to keep it neat. If a guy said he preferred bush I would grow it out, it all comes down to preference really. But all in all, he was a bastard, whatever his preference was.

You don't *have* to shave. Especially if he doesn't, then he has no room to talk. That being said, good hygiene is important. If you choose not to shave, at least keep things neat and tidy and not disgusting.
