Today, I had a date with this really cute guy. He invited me over to make dinner at his place. Eventually we end up in his bedroom to have sex. He pulls down my panties and says, "You need to shave that shit." FML

there's nothing wrong with pubes, but if you need a machete to get through the jungle, it might be time to start shaving

oh my gosh! thank you! you're the first guy who has said this! I don't shave down there... yet. but when I shave my bikini line it itches reeeeeally bad, so it's annoying. and if people expect me to shave down there, they better be expecting me to itch it too.

If you are just going to hook up with someone then you should expect anything. However if it's someone you are talking to, and aren't being a **** with with then topics like this should be covered. No hair is my preference. It is not that much of a hassle. for the girls who said it's a hassle, I say stop being lazy. People have different likes.

#24 - Obviously the face isn't nearly as sensitive as the nether regions. They also don't have to shave anything else (e.g. legs, armpits, anywhere else, even though armpit hair on anyone is ****** gross).

I man-scape, and yes, that shit can get quite uncomfortable. The twig-n-berries are constantly prodded with every step, sometime ingrown hairs if you're not careful. Like it's been said, good hygiene is just a good policy. The guy was a dick about it, but don't take so much offense towards the truth.

#24 and #64 are the only two making sense on this page. It's perfectly fine for a women to have pubic hair, but naturally it should be kept neat and trimmed. That's simple hygiene. As for pain with shaving, for most of my life, I never shaved. Then I started dating a guy who, at one point, mentioned he preferred it. I surprised him one day by shaving. I wasn't necessarily planning on keeping it that way, but I noticed how much cleaner and less smelly it was in general (no matter how well I washed before). Now I shave entirely for my personal preference, and there is no pain or razor burn so long as I moisturize properly. I just wish people who don't shave wouldn't look down so much on people who do. It has nothing to do with preferring a prepubescent look, it's just better hygiene and it makes for better sex in my experience.

If he shaves his pubes then I have no problem with his comment. If he doesn't, then you should have kicked him in the balls.

What a jerk. Shaving is a personal preference. He could have been a bit gentler about it. A guy once asked me if I'd ever considered shaving and said the area would be more sensitive if I did. That's the way to do it.

it all depends on how you look down there, if its like a jungle then you should think about trimming it up, there is nothing wrong with shaving it, there is also nothing wrong with having hair, all those people who are calling it prepubescent are saying that because they feel like a pedophile, which they probably are, or afraid they might be so it scares them, anyways, do what you have to do.

#3 do you realize how much of a pain it is for guys to shave? YDI, I dont like to floss while I eat, I'm sure the girls dont either. SHAVE THAT SHIT! I expect my girls to be shaven, and in turn I shave myself. Everything is cleaner that way.
