You didn't notice that anything was amiss with that ancient book?
It's common sense. I took the test with out reading the damn book and passed. I missed two questions
How does one fail a permit test? It's almost all common sense.
Between the two tests I had to take for my permit--one for rules and one for signs--I only missed one question(What's the assumed speed limit in a residential area without speed limit signs? I guessed 30 mph, it's actually 25). The first time I read the book was while I was sitting down waiting to take it which I did for all of 10 minutes. If you failed it might not have been entirely because you read the wrong book.
Should have passed due to the fact that those tests just happen to be common knowledge
why didn't you take any practice tests online?
Good lord, I roflmao-d on this one. And I am at work!! Bless you OP
My test was 18 common sense questions I'm pretty sure a 8 year old could figure out

That seems like a pretty obvious thing to notice when studying, if nothing else a 40+ year old book would not look modern even in the slightest. Your own fault OP sorry to say.
And you still passed because it's all common sense BS that any idiot can do, right? Maybe not given that you couldn't tell a book from the 70's from one today....
