I've been meeting a lot of girls that have a warped view of what an "average" body type is. If you have a few extra pounds...that's great... I don't really mind. But don't lie about it. (Not saying this may be the case for the OP..the guy might just be a douche)

Woah - wait a minute. Don't include the entire pool of guys just because some are douches. I don't deny that some men need a swift kick in the balls, and to be told to get a clue. BUT - at the same time, do NOT conclude that all men are like that. I'm not perfect, and I don't try to convince people that I am, but what I do know is that I do try to treat people the way they deserve to be treated. That includes women and men. OP - sorry for what you had to deal with. That was a dick move. But #22 - do not generalize the entire gender because of a couple knuckleheads. By that logic, women can be considered assholes too. First of all, I'm sure your friend is great, but I'm also sure that the fact that he's gay has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of nice guys who are straight, and plenty of assholes who are gay, because sexual preference isn't at all related to how great a person you are. Second of all, "at least two good morals". Do you actually count? What constitutes a good moral? I know plenty of guys that wont steal, and think killing people is bad. Those are two good morals, right? Plenty of assholes can hold those morals...... and can you really have bad morals? By definition aren't morals something that you believe to be good and right? You may disagree with their morals, but that doesn't necessarily make them bad. Third "i'll continue to believe that men are selfless bags of douche" I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with them if they were SELFLESS. I believe that you meant SELFISH. Those two words mean completely different things. I dont usually correct peoples grammar or spelling, but when you use a word that has the opposite meaning it gets a bit messy. Fourth, non-asshole guys aren't that hard to find, at all. I can probably name 30 of them right now, without putting much thought into it at all. By the same token, I can only think of 5 off hand who I know that are actually assholes. Either you are really unlucky, you are constantly attracted to the wrong type, or your standards are ridiculously high. I'm betting it's the second one; most times it is. People in general see what they expect to see. You expect guys to be assholes, so those are the ones you see.
