Thinking that curly hair looks nice does that to one.
Just practice, curly hair is usually a lot more interesting and unique than straight hair if you do it right.
Aww, I'm sorry. Something like that happened to me once...except my mom was the one doing the curling, and she did an awful job.
I usually just don't bother. Messy bun or ponytail for me. You really shouldn't care what people think though... I get made fun of daily at school, and no matter what I do people always find a reason... which I don't get sometimes it's as stupid as me having friends.
Actually, I'm a girl, and we're all bitches, that's well known. But I really can't understand how that could be something to get upset upon. And #37 is right
awww :[ that's terrible!
I've used just about every heat styling tool on my hair at one point and there is a learning curve involved to get good results. You should practice when you're not going out or use the heated roller sets you put in your hair for 10-15 minutes. What's really sad here though besides the mother's comment is a lot of the anti-curl bias that's been spread here. Curly hair naturally frizzes because the cuticle is open as opposed to straight hair where it's closed. If you find the right products to seal the cuticle and moisturize curly hair, you'll find that it's absolutely gorgeous.
