Today, my friend asked me if I could watch her mother's cats while they go on vacation. I agreed since her house is on my way to work. When I talked to her mother, I found out she has 30-something cats. She reckons she lost count. FML

Today, I was over at a friend's house feeding her cats while she was on vacation. After feeding the four of them, I found an extra cat under the sofa. Thinking it was an intruding stray, I kicked it out. She actually has 5 cats. FML

Today, I'd agreed to watch my friend's cats for a few weeks. I'd always promised myself not to become a "crazy cat lady" like her. It's the third day and I danced with the cats and apologised to them for my bad dancing. FML

Today, I took in an old friend’s fat cat for a month until she finds a place to live. Turns out the cat isn’t fat, just pregnant. I found out when I found two of her dead kittens in my living room. FML

Today, I've been assigned to watch my friend's cat while he's away from home. His cat is 22 years-old and very grumpy. Most of my time has been spent making sure she's not dead, and getting attacked when I accidentally interrupt her naps. I've already got a few scratches. This is gonna be a long few days. FML

Today, I visited a friend's house, where I found out he has a trio of very friendly cats in his yard. After playing with them for a bit, I went inside. An hour later, my friend informed me that one of them had died. None of them were showing any signs of being near death. I'm sad and confused. FML

Today, I was outside with my two new kittens. A woman came rushing over, saying how glad she was that they were outside. She then started complaining that she had only been able to see them through the windows previously. I have no idea who she is or where she lives. FML

Today, I found out that my mother organized someone to feed my pets because I would be out of town overnight, even though I told her that I would be back in the morning and they would be fine. They overfed my dogs, with one of them eating over 10% of her weight, and now she may have bloat, which is often fatal. FML

What I would do is put a call into Animal Control to clear most of the cats out and when she comes back play dumb and say animal control just "showed up out of no where" and that you couldn't stop them. Haveing 30 cats isn't healthy for the women or the cats. it's impossible to take care all 30 cats properly

Okay, what the f is with people having more than one cat? Like OMG they are not even that great of pets(from what I know). They piss everywhere, scratch you, run away, eat other peoples animals, and are really ANNOYING! And before some idiot comes and says otherwise, *THIS IS JUST MY OPINION* I'm sure there are great cats out there. But 30? Come on.

She is probably a hoarder. It's not her fault. But, the right thing for the OP to do is to call the appropriate authorities. No house is big enough for 30+ cats. And the woman really needs help.

CATSCATSCATS ... All depends on where she lives. If it's a larger house, then sure, 30+ cats is okay... as long as it's a clean house and they aren't feral... but if it's one of those psychos in apartments/trailers you see on the Animal Cops shows, then FYL indeed. Then again... all alone, taking care of those cats, even if it's a large house they're probably not friendly and probably not very healthy.. Lord knows I love my six cats but I am extremely thankful we have the chicks fixed. No.. more.. kitten batches 8C I mean, six cats is enough for one young person, can't imagine 30+ for an older one...
