I've been using low dose birth control and only side effect I experienced is slight acne which went away after a month or two. Unless you smoke or are allergic the side effects shouldn't be very sever or last very long. Some actually help reduce your period and regulate it so can be some upsides to using it.

Side effects are different for each individual person. Dont assume your experience is the same as everyone elses.

In my experience it's more likely he was a jerk from the start n she knew it, but wanted "to change him" or whatever bull girls say when they knowingly date a jerk. Girls knowingly date jerks all the time while they kick the nice guys to the side. So they deserve what they get, cuz they had their chance with a nice guy and they spat on it.

Not always true at all! I've dated a few ones who were really nice at first and then turned into selfish pigs. Women like me don't put up with bullshit, and I'm glad OP doesn't either.
