Wow, I think some people are too crazy. I'd get rid of him asap.
I think everyone saying dump him probably hates cats, loves dogs, or both. Anyway, that is really sweet
how can you get mad at him? to many animal lovers, a cat is like a sibling or child. and just immediately telling him that he cannot be with his comfort object isn't exactly fair. just give him time, and soon enough he will be okay with not being with his cat. but if this goes on for a couple of weeks, talk to him about how he isn't being fair to you. if a month goes by, though, he obviously isn't going to change, and dump his feline-loving ass to the curb.
Haha, I'd think that hilarious if he did it as a joke...y'know...to wind you up. But if he was serious, and keeps on sleeping in the spare because the cat is sad..then..well...I don't think your relationship means that much to him :/
i agree with number 13 :)
maybe hes just attatched to his cat? you dont need to be the center of attention all the time
Ok I'm sorry but that is just creepy. Guys should not be that attached to a cat.
Hey, if I were in his situation, and if the cat came first, I'd do exactly what he did.
he loves pussy, too bad its a real one and not yours. sucks.

Never make someone choose between you and the pet they probably had before they knew you, and who will still love them after your relationship ends. Either take some antihistimines and deal with it, or accept defeat now.
That's pretty harsh but I wouldn't call this a FML unless he continually gets out of bed in the middle of the night to sleep with the cat.
