Today, I took a nap while babysitting my neighbor's kids for the day. I was woken up by an obnoxious sound, only to find the youngest kid holding scissors in one hand, a pony tail of hair stuck down in his shorts, jumping around like a horse. Oh, and a semi-bald patch on the back of my head. FML

Today, I babysat my neighbour's spoilt bratty twins. When I told them it was their bed time, they pushed me over. One then started smashing me with a plastic sword, and as I lay helpless on the floor the other one peed on me. I got owned by two five year olds. FML

Today, I was babysitting for my neighbors. Their 5 year-old had finally fallen asleep at 11 after two hours of stories and songs. No sooner had I tiptoed out of the room did I realize that my phone had dropped out of my pocket onto the bed. It was ringing. It was their mother checking in. FML

Today, I was knocked unconscious by the 10 year-old I was babysitting because it was his younger sister's bedtime and he didn't want her to go. When I came to, their mother was screaming at me for sleeping on the job. In the middle of the kitchen floor. I lost a job and gained a killer headache. FML

Today, I was babysitting my co-worker's son. He was eating Jell-o and spilled it on his top, so I pulled off his PJ's, and went in his room to grab a new pair. I heard a thunk and ran to find him out cold on the floor. His parents walked in on me trying to wake up their naked 3 year-old. FML

Today, I was babysitting my neighbor's kid. We were playing in the yard, when he fell and got a small scratch on his leg. I gasp, and he takes a huge breath in and yells, "FUUUCK!!!" as loud as possible. The parents thought it was me, and the mother slapped me in the face. FML

Today, I had to babysit two kids. It all went well until one of them duct taped a knife to a toy machine gun, lit the barbecue on fire, and ran around like a wild banshee screaming obscenities. The other one got scared and climbed onto the roof of the house. FML

Don't nap while babysitting. You got off cheap. The kid could have got hold of a lighter and decided to play barbeque with the couch. You're paid to watch them. Sleep on your own time.

I don't get why people are saying "It's not OK if you were being paid to watch the kids & fell asleep, but if it was just a neighborly thing, well, it's not as bad." HUH!? So what if the kid got in a horrible accident & died while you were watching it.. "Oh well, it's not like they were PAYING me to watch the kid." If you agree to watch the kids, watch the kids!

YOU'RE SO STUPID!!! And its not like they were tired and just fell asleep, OP DECIDED to take a nap! You're lucky the kid didn't poke his eyes out!! And for the hair, it'll grow back, but you could donate the ponytail if its long enough, take your stupidness and help a poor little kid with cancer

You're lucky all the kid did was cut your hair... they could have seriously injured themselves and i'm sure the parents would have sued you for every measly cent you're worth and you'd probably never find a good after that. needless to say, you 100% deserved that.
