Dude, WTF!

Today, I was at my job as a flight attendant. A passenger on my plane stopped breathing and turned blue. As I cleared his airways and was busy strapping an oxygen mask to his face, the passenger behind him tried to hand me her trash. Apparently I'm a walking trash can, no matter what I'm doing. FML

Today, I was supposed to fly home for my dad's funeral, but the woman in the seat next to me was so obese, her bulging flesh left absolutely no way for me to sit in my seat. I complained to the stewardess, who then forced me to leave the plane just for raising my voice in frustration. FML

Today, I was assigned to empty the lavatory tank on an airplane. I haven't done this since February, when the contents ended up all over me. I thought to myself, "It can't happen again, can it?" I was wrong. FML

Today, I had a several-hour-long flight. I was put in a seat at the very back of the plane. Before the plane even lifted off, a woman took a dump in the bathroom that I stank for the rest of the flight. Whenever I tried to get some sleep, the flight attendant walked past, savagely jostling me. FML

Today, I was on an early flight home after a night of drinking. I was sat in my seat when I started feeling sweaty and nauseous. I grabbed the puke bag and started gagging, then puking, and a really loud fart came out. Everyone heard it. The attendant switched me seat to sit alone. FML

Today, I was on a small plane. A flight attendant told us that there was too much weight in the front of the plane and they needed 3 people to move to the back of the plane. I volunteer and walk to the back. She says, "Okay, we're going to need 1 more person." FML

Today, on a plane home from Ireland, my husband who was severely hungover, vomitted in a bag before we took off. When he got up to put the bag in the bin the stewardess forced him to sit back down. I had to hold on to a bag full of vomit for a good few minutes whilst my husband was passed out. FML

OP, well done!! you saved a passenger's life. don't let an ungrateful asshole ruin that. i saw an article not too long ago written by a flight attendant about the idiots you guys see up there, and i'd like to formally apologize on behalf of the rest of the world lol. i understand that all the stuff you do extra is exactly that, extra, and you're primary job is ensuring a safe flight, and you did that by saving that passenger's life. thanks!! -a licensed Illinois EMT-B and since i don't wanna wait to make a second comment: people like #94 should go parachuting...without a parachute...

Thank you for being so responsible and saving that person's life. I really look up to you for it! And that person who tried to give you trash maybe didn't see what you were doing..? But I think it would be kind of hard not to see or hear that kind of situation. =| It's rude and ignorant, but just forget it. :) You should feel totally proud for saving a life!
