Emergency

Today, while I was working replacing a windshield, some jerk off hit my truck. A truck carrying 2 grand in glass. Including the windshield I was about to install. The driver gets out and says, "Sorry man, I had to text my girlfriend." FML

I hope you made him pay for the loss. That really sucks.

Ugh, no excuses for texting while driving. Dumbass.

Ok so you start off saying you're replacing a windshield then say you were about to install it. Were you driving or parked on the side of the road? I assume you mean you met a costumer roadside to replace theirs? Which means you have a witness to what he told you, in case he lies in the insurance report. Unless you're self-employed or work for a small company, the glass should be insured though I'm not sure if he'll be the one who has to pay for it or not.

I wish Darwinism wasn't so keen on affecting innocent bystanders as well as the completely moronic. Sorry that happened OP, hope you clocked the guy

Well in a diff perspective. . that man's a keeper. kept his gf on priority no matter wot and where lol

@54 He's not a keeper. If I found out my boyfriend was texting while driving I'd dump him. Some things are more important than getting an immediate response.

I know your feels bro. I'm also and auto glass tech, luckily nobody has hit my vehicle. what company you work for? I work for speedy.
