Almost_there44 he clearly stated that he didn't realize how drunk she was. As for my comment: Drunk people do stupid things as long as there not hurting themselfs or someone else sit back and enjoy the show.
They still knew she was drunk before she said that. Which means they're still a bit suspect.
It doesn't matter. Drunk is drunk and the only reason to buy a drunk person another drink is to get them even more drunk. The only reason I can really think of for him wanting to get her more drunk is to take advantage of her...which is actually rape.
Why are you assuming that was his attentions? Perhaps he just struck up a conversation with her and he wanted to keep talking to her so he got her another drink. Or maybe he was using that drink as a conversation started which is why he didn't realize how drunk she actually was. Not all guys are horrible pigs out to get laid or take advantage of you.
He clearly knew she was drunk before he offered her a drink. He said he didn't know how drunk she was until AFTER she made the comment. Learn to read.
That's a very creative and effective way to say "not interested" I must admit xD
I'm thinking she wasn't that drunk and just found a really effective way to get rid of the creep who was trying to get her more drunk in order to rape her. Good for her--she's got solid "**** off" game.
That makes no sense... a guy who is offering to buy someone a drink is immediately considered a rapist? You need some kind of justification for a statement like that.
The justification is that he tried to get a drunk girl even more drunk. That is clearly taking advantage and many people agree that that is rape or close enough to it to be completely wrong.
A guy (or girl, let's not be gender specific here) who buys an already drunk person another drink is trying to get them more drunk. Usually this is in order to sexually take advantage of their impaired state and judgement--which is rape. Drunk people can't give consent, there as it's rape. And of course there are levels to this sort of thing--if you have a long standing sexual relationship and like to drink and sex, that's fine. That's completely different from meeting someone in the bar and preying on their impaired state in order to have sex with them.

I hope a drink is all you offered.

Show it anywayI wonder if the semantics of this FML are all wrong and therefore causing a misunderstanding from OP to reader. If it's not a mistake, then shame on you OP for trying to get an already intoxicated girl even more pliable with another drink.
I voted YDI because why would you be creepy enough to try to give her more alcohol when she's clearly visibly drunk? Sketchy behavior. Please don't continue.
Well did it!!???
In other words, even though she is drunk, you are still to ugly for her to take home.

If she was already drunk, why would you offer to buy her another drink?
If you're trying to get drunk chicks drunker, that probably isn't a deal breaker for you...
