Fake it til you make it

Today, bouncing at a local bar. I I.D.'d a girl with a group of people. I told her that next time she used a fake I.D., she at least should get one with a picture that looked like her. She started crying and ran off. A guy told me that she had been in a car wreck, and had been badly disfigured. FML

#2, his job is to judge people like that, you can't really blame him. I've worked security in a bar, and it really makes you realize that a picture taken 3 years ago is rarely helpful. SO not his fault, but sucks, none the less

They could've been lying. Who knows, maybe they hatched that plan in case they got caught trying to sneak her in? =P

Show it anyway

how is he supposed to know that she was in a car accident????? not his fault.

He wasn't even mean about it. All he said was to make sure it actually looked like her. Obviously it didn't look anything like her.

>he does his job correctly >gets called a douche fag by a random on the internet >how classy

no way you could've known, man. i'm on your side.

#14, ur an idiot. by what is written here, he wasn't a douchebag, he was just recognizing the fact that the id she had didnt look like her and made a small joke about it, anyone who thinks he deserves this has no sense of that what was actually going on, he didnt know

If she comes back another time just appologize and tell the bartender to give her a free drink.

That might be true, but who knows if the group of people knew that she would get caught with a fake ID so they came up with the car wreck story.

To be fair to you, she should have had her ID updated if she looked dramatically different. Also I'd like to add in that the fact that you posted this here means you feel bad about it, making you the nicest bouncer I've ever heard of lol I've seen local bouncers do much worse, like last week I was out and the bouncer took me aside and spend 10 minutes asking me ridiculous questions, like "what college do you go to?", and when I told him that I don't go to college he started to berate me for being unemployed after my job went down the toilet due to cutbacks. He eventually let me through but I left the shithole soon after.
