House=upgrade
Look, women need to learn there are certain things that men have certain needs, one is sex i agree, but another is the yearning to want to watch house. It only on twice a day and sex can be an option every other time after that, so your comparing a 22 hour window vs a 2 hour window. So yeah House wins.
Really? House>Sex? Because all House is is a rehash of one episode, over and over and over. They all have the same plotline. Someone comes in feeling sick. They can't figure out what it is. Then they think they know, but (big surprise!) they're all wrong. It's all up to House, the sexy super-genius doctor to figure it out all on his own and cure the patient. Ooooh, I'm enthralled.
Honestly? House is pretty much the same thing each episode. Throw in a tiny little twist that may have something to do with a character featured on the show, and voila! There's the "gripping drama." Someone comes in feeling badly/sick/dying/bleeding from the eyes. Everyone thinks they have something, (ie lupus). But, whoa! Get this! It's NOT. It's actually something House has to deduce in a completely ridiculous manner! Suddenly, they're better, all thanks to House the sexy super-genius! Now let's all watch him make a sarcastic comment and hobble off into the sunset. Or we could not waste our time.
That's why you realize you should turn off the tv before getting too occupied.
LMAO! Great tongue-in-cheek posts folks :o) Personally I can't stand TV - even when I'm not having sex - so I'm in the minority :o) I definitely feel for OP though - without all these caring and erudite posts clarifying things, I can see how she might have mistakenly believed that something personal and intimate like sex should be more important to human beings than something transient, fictitious, artificial, (and recordable!) like TV. But look on the bright side - I presume there were ad breaks, so you should be able to get BF to finish the deed in the breaks. :o)

I'm sorry, but House is unsurpassable. Nothing can or ever will beat it.
