Today, I told my mom about how my friend is going to China for a year instead of college. My mom suggested that I could do the same. When I told her that a trip to China is probably more expensive than my college tuition, my mom replied, "Not for a one way ticket". FML

Today, my mom told me the night before our school trip that I’m not going so she could get a refund. Now I have to stay alone with my mom for a week, while my friends are having the time of their life in NYC. FML

Today, my mom found out I'm failing three classes. Now she won't let me go to a convention I bought passes for weeks in advance. Each pass was $45, and I bought 2 more for my friends. You do the math on that, because I apparently can't. FML

Today, after being accepted into the college of my dreams, I found out that my mom has spent all my college savings on alcohol over the years, and she says that it's my fault for not "helping her get help." FML

I think you misunderstood her. You would only need a one way because you wouldn't know the exact dates, and you could buy wone before you leave. It may be cheaper. Talk to her if you are hurt. I think it was a mistake. She was also probably trying to express what would be cheapest for you at the time. Lighten up.

Umm- CHILL OUT. This silly website really gets you that mad? Seriously? If you really hate this website, then stop reading it. Or post something constructive. Don't just bash everyone who posts things- you're not improving anything. You're only contributing to making this site an even more unpleasant one. You know, there's a lot of things in this world to be pissed about. Fmylife.com is not one of them. Some people need to get some perspective. Honestly, I didn't even think it would get posted! I'm surprised it did, because I agree, it is not one of the better FML's I have seen. SORRY IF I HAVE OFFENDED ANYONE- yeesh.
