Feel the love

Today, I told my mom about how my friend is going to China for a year instead of college. My mom suggested that I could do the same. When I told her that a trip to China is probably more expensive than my college tuition, my mom replied, "Not for a one way ticket". FML

What kind of sucky-ass college are you going to that going to China is more expensive??? No offense or anything.. hehe. And the plane ticket will be expensive, but you'll probably save on living expenses: eg. food, rent, water, etc.

This is a perfect time for a "Who Cares" button.

YESSS! FML NEEDS a 3rd button!!! I'm also starting to think it needs a button to ban users that post only negative or totally worthless crap.

Lol, so are you going to China? :)

Maybe you misinterpreted her. Maybe 2 one ways are cheaper than a round trip.

uHm, wtf!! You declined a ticket to CHINA? Like, IDK if you know but Overseas tickets don't over 2000! To China, it'd like 1600 or less and wtf, how much is college tuition, 500?

college tuition for a year is about 20,000$ on average. Going to china for a year with living expenses is about 10,000$. Cheaper to go to china lol

k guys, the poster is from canada here in canada, if you are a resident, and you are attending community college, you're probably paying something like 2000-3000/year...and if you are attending public university, it'll probably be 5000-6000/ year we don't freakin' pay 20,000/year for post secondary education like in the US

@102: I pay about 6,000/year and I'm in the US. 20,000+ is if you go to private colleges, etc.

Well are you sure she wanted to go to college in canada? i wouldnt know that and neither would you so dont be such an asshole because i was telling a person about tuition cost on the average, douche bag
