Today, I was on a blind date with a girl my friend set me up with. We went to a fancy restaurant and she ordered the shrimp. I told her, "I'm allergic to shrimp, so you shouldn't order it in case I want to kiss you later." She looked at the waiter and said, "I'll have the shrimp." FML

Today, I went on a blind date with a guy at a seafood restaurant. I explained to him that I am deathly allergic to shrimp. When the waiter took my order, he interrupted me and said, “She’ll have the shrimp," while looking me dead in the eye. FML

Today, I found out that I'm allergic to shrimp, when I went out for a lunch with my long-term crush after I finally got the courage to ask her out. She's really into seafood. A little while into the afternoon I started to feel itchy. She ended up scratching my back all night. FML

Today, my best friend set me up on a blind date with someone he said was very hot. I'm not exactly what you call fit, so I haven't been dating lately. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I spotted the girl. She looked me up and down, said, "You have GOT to be kidding me" and left. FML

Today, I went on a blind date, even though the whole concept freaks me out a bit. My date showed up with his sister, who sat at our table and critiqued everything we did, from how I chewed my food, to the way we nervously laughed. He hardly said a word the whole time. FML

Can I high-five her? Seriously. You have no business considering for a second telling her what to order. At.all. How DARE YOU?! Seriously. That just disgusts me. Simple solution? Don't kiss her after she eats shrimp. Wow. You have plenty of time for that later. I remember wanting to go to a restaurant specifically to order an item and my 'girlfriend' at the time kept cutting me off and telling the waitperson that I didn't want that, I wanted osmething else, kept glaring when I wouldn't back down. So I got up and walked home (6 miles), took it as a lesson learned, and stopped associating with the control-freak.

She probably thought you were being a prick, telling her what to do and coming over all "i'm going to eat your face later"...lol. Yeah dont' be so forward. If you heard her order shrimp, and she tried to kiss you later, then you could've told her then, and kissed her on the cheek or something so she wouldn't be totally offended. You just came off as a dick. YDI.

She may have just said that because she didn't want to kiss you on the first date, especially since it's a blind date. You don't even know each other, seeing that it's a blind date, and, as I said, the first one, so that was a bit soon.

You better have split the check! That wasn't even a date, it was a first time meeting with an absolute stranger! Just like all these women are on here telling you that she's not gonna kiss someone she just met, you shouldn't be paying for someone you just met!
