#170, you're an ignorant son of a b. Which, sometimes yes it may be true, but I don't see you giving up fourteen years of your life to learn SO MUCH so you can help other people for the rest of it. There is a reason why doctors have been respected for thousands of years. OP: I'm in the same boat... I'm going to dental school. At least we'll be able to pay our debt in a few years and you can have a shopping addiction you can pay for that too! (if you wish) There is a BIG difference, education is expensive, but also priceless. =)
It'll pay off one day (assuming you do finish) this is something I'll have to deal with too one day so yeah have faith in yourself that once you finish everything will work itself out.
If #167 thinks doctors are over educated and overpaid he can stop using them. Diagnose and treat yourself. This will work especially great for cancer or an aneurysm in your brain that has to be surgically removed. Go live in a country where they don't have well educated doctors. They probably also don't have the internet so none of us will have to listen to the pathetic crap coming out of your poor excuse for a brain. Everyone wins. OP - You should be happy you got into med school. 75% that apply don't. You're sacrifice will pay off.
What the **** are you whining about??? You're about to become a doctor, hello!! Whereas these sad people just have shopping addictions, spending money they don't even have. You'll be able to pay off your debt in five years or so. You'll have a career and MONEY; they'll have clothes. I don't think you win the "boo-hoo, my situation's worse" game this time, kiddo!
By you're I meant your. Crap. How horrible.
LOL enjoy sucking dick to repay the money PS Doctors are frauds, I went to one once and he raeped me
Uh, FYL for being in the same position as every other person who has ever got an education?
You going to be a doctor: good career and handsome income, whereas she is going to be who -- a girl with good clothes and huge debt?
Their debt is the result of squandering money and stupidity, yours was invested in your future. Is this really an FML? Do you really have to be a medical student to figure this one out?
What do you mean by "having something to show for their debt"? A purse and new shoes? Now we know common sense isn't a requirement for admittance to medical school...

At least you will have a good career once you are done with school!
"At least they have something to show for their debt"? What does that mean? In a few years you'll have a respectable career. A pile of shiny things won't help you earn money the same way a medical degree can.
