If you truly believe you won't have "anything to show" with a medical degree, you should probably drop out of school. "Today."
Too different kinds of debt. Don't despair, yours is more favourable.
I wouldn't want you operating on me.
Because a doctorate in medicine is "nothing to show for it", and useless items bought in a consumerist fervor is.
I don't have much sympathy for people who somehow think being a doctor is worth the ridiculous cost of training and education. I think doctors are the most over-educated and overpaid professions in the country.
I don't understand, why schools are expensive in us.

"At least they have something to show for their debt"? What does that mean? In a few years you'll have a respectable career. A pile of shiny things won't help you earn money the same way a medical degree can.
