Foursome

Today, after years of wonderful flying experiences, I boarded a flight and took my seat only to find a baby sitting in front of me, behind me, and to the right of me, and across the aisle from me. All of whom decided to cry in unison. It was a 9-hour flight. FML

ill makr sure too pass out earplugs when I go to fly soon with my daughter

I feel your pain, I feel your pain!! Anyone who thinks it's okay with a baby on a nine hour flight, should be shot.

This is when you invest in those Bose noise canceling headphones

I imagine there's a corner in hell similar to that description.

This is why they should have family sections ... All the screaming brats in one place.

I like how people always say it's the babies who are the problem. Granted, some are, but ours isn't for example. She slept through the whole landing, while an incredibly annoying family of 7 adults kept yelling all through the cabin the entire time...

Doesnt matter, to remove a pest you have to remove all of them not just the ones current being degenerates.

Next time ask those people to buy you a drink.

Whenever we fly, I have ear plugs and headphones just in case I am in this scenario. Never happened yet thankfully.

That sounds tough, but it's the fault of the airline/any stewards for not spreading them out a bit. But at the same time, have some sympathy - yes, you had to listen to them, but their overtired parents were the ones who had to deal with the screaming, and the whole plane hating them for 9 hours. They have just as much right to be on the plane as you do, you can't expect for babies to be kept away from you when you're taking communal transport

The stewards have literally no say in where people sit. Neither does the airline most of the time. People have either paid to choose their own spot, or it's automated by the computer.
