Give me strength

Today, my girlfriend's friend told her she had seen me shopping with a cute girl. When I came back home, my girlfriend punched me in the face and asked who the girl was. Apparently her friend didn't tell her the "cute girl" was my three year-old niece. I lost a tooth from the punch. FML

Ha! Sounds like your girlfriend has some anger issues... and a mean right-hook.

wow...im a 17 year old girl, and i admit iv been harsh on some guys, but holy crap! she should have at least gotten the story before goin all out on u!

sounds like the best mate is a lil jealous of your relationship.

seems like a good warning not to mess with your girlfriend.

Those who are bringing up Rihanna and Chris Brown ought to be ashamed of themselves.

#108 - 04/11/2009 at 1:48pm by serious1y You know that you're insulting to every woman on earth ? So what, we're weak, cowards, and we can't speak for ourselves ? Sure, I'm not big at all, 5'1 and 110 pounds, but I know how to fight. In a fair fight with Hulk Hogan, though, I may consider running as hell. But what you say is stupid. If we (women) want to be equals, and our mothers have fought enough for that, we take it entirely. We should carry our bags, and we should be sent to jail if we hit our husbands. What you say, is basically "My grandgrandgrand(...)grandmother, who lived in the 15th, was regurlarly beaten by her cheating husband. I can hit mine and you are a /b/tard if you think I should be punished, because it's just fair." That's stupid. oO And, sorry to tell you, but my best friend is really.. ahem. she's not easily lost in a crowd, and her husband is really thin. Does that mean, because she's stronger and bigger than him, he has the right to break her jaw if he suspected she cheated on him ?

Going along with #172, how can a woman hitting a man be construed as brave just because of physical strength? Ever heard of social factors? If you punch a lion that's tied up and in a cage in the face, that's not bravery, that's just hitting someone who's unable to hit you back. Likewise, if a woman hits a guy while secure in her social constructs that he's not going to hit her back (and if he does, he'll get flash-fried by the nearest bunch of Captains)...how does that constitute bravery? Does "How Can She Slap" ring a bell? "If we (women) want to be equals, and our mothers have fought enough for that, we take it entirely. We should carry our bags, and we should be sent to jail if we hit our husbands." Well said.

oh the sophistries of the interwebs =) ...yay for womens rights! hahahahahahahaa
