I'm in the final months of high school and while everyone is enjoying the last days, I'm sat here being a "good" son, listening to my parents argue, maybe divorcing. Today, we found out that my 13-year-old cousin is pregnant. My mom then turned to me and asked why I decided to wait so long. I’m only 20. Instead of being worried that this young girl has potentially ruined her entire life, my mom just complained that her sister "gets to be a grandma first." FML

I don't know... from the way she's talking, that might actually be what she wants. Some people just can't let their children go on and live their own lives. This woman certainly seems to fall into that category.

Your Mom is not being a very good parent right now. Probably because of jealousy. It is sad but all too common in my experience. Keep up the good work and stay motivated. You're doing what's best for your life and your future.
