Greasy greasy spot spot

By Whoops - This FML is from back in 2013 but it's good stuff - United Kingdom

Today, I was getting a haircut. The lady accusingly told me she'd have to thoroughly wash my hair before she started, as it was way too greasy to cut through. FML

Seriously... easy fix. Wash your hair.

So let her wash it! It's the beat feeling ever to have someone else wash your hair. Enjoy!

The same happened with me..! and my hair were still wet from the shower i took before going to the salon. The hairdresser washed my hair again just to add extra bill for shampooing hair.

Here in Australia they sometimes wet your hair with a spray bottle but they don't wash it for you. But they expect you to have washed it within the last 24 hours. At least that's how it has been with all the places I've been to.

How is washing your hair such a difficult task? Get off the computer and into the shower.

I take it that doing a shampooing isn't part of the whole getting a hair cut experience in the UK? It's customary here in the U.S., but the main reason why they do it is because your hair will be at it's truest length when wet, so it helps give the stylist a good idea of exactly how much to take off so that the end result will look right to your request when your hair is dry.

it is usually, but I think that for guys it doesn't usually matter, but from my experience most places are very reluctant to or refuse to do dry cuts for women, I prefer them honestly as I don't like others washing my hair and the hairdresser always dries it differently to me, not in a way I like, so if I go in with it how I usually do it and they just do a trim it usually ends better although haven't had a dry cut in atleast 2 years either way always wash my hair even before a haircut

It's probably just your hair products, no biggie.

Since when is hair "too greasy" to cut through?
