Today, I celebrated my friend's birthday. While everyone was completely wasted, a couple of friends suggested that I throw a pie in the birthday boy's face. Only seconds after doing so did I realize that the centre of the pie had still been burning hot when he screamed in agony. FML

1: he was drunk. 2: he said the center was the hot part. Kinda hard to feel the center of something when you pick it up. Unless you pick things up by sticking your hand through them.

Except that pies cool outside in the bottom and outside of the pie would still be warm if the outside is warm the centre is burning hot, this guy is an idiot

If the center of a typical sized pie is hot enough to make someone scream in agony, the outside will be uncomfortably warm. How do I know this? I've baked pies.

I would say you should have had the sense to make sure it was cooled first, but...well, you did make the decision to get drunk. So thinking wouldn't really have worked real well in that situation. F your friend's life. Hopefully he won't be too pissed at you.

@31, depending on what comment section you enter and what the subject is it can all be pretty different. Like FML shares quite a few with fertility comment boards.
