Grown up

By ugh - 14/08/2012 16:52 - United States

Today, I went out to dinner with my boyfriend and his mom. The hostess asked if I needed "the kid's menu," remarked how I look "so grown up for your age," and asked what grade I was in. I said I'm in university. She laughed as if it was the best joke ever told. I'm 22. FML

Just think, when you're ninety you won't look a day past thirty! :)

That's sort of a good thing to look young;)

Aww dont worry op ull prob be glad u look younger (even as young as the hostess thougt) ppl think my sister looks like shes 16 when hes 26!

My friend is the same way. She came to Halloween party with her boyfriend and someone asked him why he brought a fifth grader.

The best thing to do is shove your ID in her face, order a bottle of wine, and demand that it's on the house. The manager should agree to it to make up for the waitress' idiocy.

One day you'll be thankful for your spring chicken looks:)

Should have asked for drink with alcohol in it~ The look on her face would've been priceless.

She was probably trying to cut u down to get at your boyfriend. Trifling ass bitch.

I have the same problem except I'm 20, when I went to get my first car the man selling it was freaking out because he couldn't believe the car was for me and he kept repeating "oh my god you look 10" when we get to 60 we'll just look like 12 yr olds with wrinkles....

...to distract the waitress as you bitch-slapped her across the face with your other hand.

I don't know if this is any consolation, but I can completely relate. I am 19, but everyone thinks I'm much younger. People are always surprised to find out my age.
