Today, I found out that a water pipe at my work had burst over the weekend. There is absolutely no water in the building, including the bathrooms. It's a 9-hour day, and I took a laxative this morning before I came in. FML

Today, my apartment management notified me that my water was going to be shut off all day so they could fix the plumbing. I took a laxative last night. FML

Today, we had to turn the water off due to a massive leak in the kitchen sink that the plumber was currently fixing. I managed to wait two hours before my uncooperative digestive tract said it couldn't wait any longer and I had to take a mega dump in the bathroom. I couldn't flush the toilet or wash my hands. FML

Today, my work finally hired someone to replace some leaky pipes. I work in the basement by myself, and just as I walked under the newly-fixed pipes, I got soaked with what appeared to be water. Apparently it was connected to a toilet. My boss couldn't find a replacement, so they made me work covered in piss. FML

Today, I returned to work after a restful week-long holiday. Before I left, I'd finished a huge assignment which is due this week. I walk in to find a water pipe has burst just above my desk, flooding our office with water and ruining my computer. Happy New Year to me. FML

Today, I woke up to find that there has been a water main break in my neighborhood and there is no running water until the break is located and fixed. I had chili with beans late last night and it is wreaking havoc with my lower gastrointestinal tract, and the toilet won't flush. FML

Today, at work I had to spend 2 hours cleaning up stinky toilet water. Why? Because yesterday, I forgot to turn on the septic tank pumps. The tank overflowed, and so did all the toilets. My boss is not happy. FML

Today, my apartment building shut off our water for a short period of time because the pipes were being worked on. It was also the morning my dog had diarrhea on my cream carpet. Not only did I have to clean it up without water, I couldn't wash my hands afterward. FML

Today, I took a dump at work. When I went to flush the toilet, it clogged and began to overflow. I left the bathroom as it was and as I walked out, my boss came in. FML

Today, while using the bathroom I gave the toilet a courtesy flush, only for it to overflow and soak my pants. That would've been bad enough even if I hadn't been at work, with five hours left on my shift and no change of clothes. FML

i'm by no means certain, but i'm pretty sure its probably illegal to make you work in a building that doenst have water and toliets...i may be wrong..but i do remember hearing something like that..atleast in the UK, but also..why would you take a laxative before you went to work?

There should still be water in each toilet's tank. You'll get one free flush on each one, they just won't be able to 'reload' for next time.

I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal about it being illegal to work in a place without bathrooms. Pipes burst, drains clog.. sometimes you have to go to work and the bathroom aren't working. To shut down an entire company because the bathrooms aren't working is insane. Its not like they are forcing them to work in horrible conditions everyday. I am sure that unless they work on a secret plant in the middle of no where.. that there are bathrooms near by.

I am actually lucky enough to have my own bathroom in my own office and yay, that means I get to use it when I want! (p.s. there is more than one reason to use them if not for losing weight. If I was that lazy I'd just stick my finger down my throat.)

Today, my weird coworker decided to take laxatives before he went to work. There are no toilets in the building so now I've got to spend the whole working day hearing him yell "I thought it would be fun to randomly take laxatives, but it's not!"FML.
