lmfao WTF!!
YDI for having diabetes, not playing cards, and not smoking
...seriously?
I know how you feel, ive had diabetes for 8 years and when i get older i get to inherit my family's candy company, hows that for a giant contradiction?
I think you're wrong in 2 ways: 1) People who have diabetes CAN have sugar if they know how to handle insulin and if they have a steady blood sugar curve! 2) I'm not sure what you mean by I've HAD diabetes because it can't be cured. Only type 2 diabetes can be reduced but you still have to live with all the consequences of the disease. So in a sort of way they're still diseased.
He/She means that he/she was diagnosed with diabetes 8 years ago, thus he/she HAS HAD diabetes for 8 years. It could also be worded "I have been living with diabetes for eight years", but the way she put it makes sense, too.
maybe its time you start smoking
