There's nothing wrong with goths, but trend hopping ain't cool. I think you might be wasting your time in this relationship.
If she doesn't know herself, how are you supposed to know the real her too?? She needs to grow up.
Being a goth should not be a "fad". And goth is more than just appearance; it's pretty much a lifestyle of interest. Looking like an undertaker gone extreme with the eyeliner seems more along the lines of desperation, trend-hopping, and trying to find herself than anything else. If being in this relationship involves her forcing you to do something you don't want, and changing who you "are" as a person, you may want to take her up on that offer of leaving. It's probably not worth it in the long run. How do you think a goth girl would feel, for example, if their boyfriend wanted them to dress up in frilly ribbons? That wouldn't go over well, and I can't see this going over well for you. Something's going to give.
