Today, while working at the hospital, I had a patient with a blocked bowel. It was so bad, feces were entering into her stomach. While leaning down to talk with her, she threw up. I was both vomited and defecated on at the same time. FML

#145, it's a violation because the only use of telling pt cases is to other health care providers, such as students or the responding EMS or any medical professionals involved in the care of the pt for the benefit of the pt and for quality assurance, to improve the care provided by professionals in future situations. if said individual or family members came on to this site, they may recognize the situation and may not be too pleased that someone is having fun by posting it on this website. that is why it is a violation of HIPAA.

FAKE!!!! All the fecal matter is accumulated inside the large intestine. There wouldn't be enough to accumulate into the small intestine (which is much much longer than the large intestine), especially up to her stomach. It would probably take weeks of buildup, at which point she would have already died from poisoning due to the toxins in the fecal matter.
