Today, my girlfriend named our daughter Aspen. Ass. Pen. When I hear her name I will always think of a pen in a butthole. No doubt her future classmates will too. FML

I’m South African and even I know Aspen is some fancy place for skiing. You are weird! It’s not like it’s even pronounced like ass-pen. Poor child, having a dad like you.

is a name that has become more common in the later time, I don't think anyone will think as you when they hear it. What I react to in your post is that your girlfriend named your daughter without including you in the process.
