I feel that either might not actually true for you and you're frustrated with the dating scene, or it is true and not actually an FML - It's a revelation that means you can stop trying to force yourself to pursue a relationship if you genuinely don't want to and cut that stress out of your life. I mean, admittedly, yes, too much of society is structured around the assumption that everyone will have a single monogamous partner (IIRC the term for that is amatonormativity), so there can be frustrations in that regard. And like, even if you don't want a romantic/sexual relationship, living alone can be, well, lonely, compared to having a partner. Make sure you've got an adequate social network so that you're getting your socializing/companionship needs met (to whatever level they may be), and you'll be golden.
