I lived in an apartment for years that we would occasionally get on the elevator to discover piss on the floor, or dog poop. I'm hoping the piss was from a dog as well, but you never know. The apartment complex was actually fairly nice and very helpful (I have several examples) but they COULD NOT figure out who the culprit was. Security surveillance systems are a lot more complex and expensive than you might think, and I don't blame them for not putting them in for dog pee alone. Personally, I thought it was more in their best interest to ban cats and dogs, but what do I know? I wasn't going to leave purely over this problem, but you can sure bet I would have walked away in a hurry if I had known from the beginning... Sorry you have to live with the rules set in place for other idiots and jerks. That's life though.

Get them registered as emotional support dogs then you can have them in any public area including restaurants and shops as long as they behave
