Today, I pulled someone over for speeding. He was only 10 over the speed limit so I gave him an $84 fine. It turns out he is a workplace Occupational Health and Safety officer and because I wasn't wearing my high visibilty vest while standing on the side of the road he gave me a $250 fine. FML

Today, I was pulled over by a cop and was fined $210 for making an illegal u-turn. When the cop finished writing my ticket and hopped in his car, he made the same u-turn. FML

Today, I was pulled over and was given a $300 ticket for going 90mph on a 70mph highway. The cop swore he saw my silver car darting in and out of traffic. A couple of minutes earlier that exact car had passed me while I was following the speed limit. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding and got a $200 ticket. After I pulled away, I decided to warn the next car about the cop up ahead by flashing my headlights. The next car was another cop. He didn't appreciate my "help". FML

Today, I was pulled over by a police officer for speeding. After writing the ticket, he asked me why I was wearing a surgical mask. I told him that swine flu was found in our area and I was scared. He thought that I was insulting him and wrote me another ticket. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding. Knowing how much more it would cost in the long run, I handed the officer my license with $300 in cash, "as something to consider for just a warning." He came back with a ticket and verbally warned me that police bribery is a felony. He kept the money. FML

Today, I crashed into a pole on purpose as a cop pulled me over for speeding. I figured the officer would feel bad for me and that the cost of fixing my car would be less than a ticket. He gave me one anyway. FML

Today, I was on the way to traffic court for a $340 speeding ticket I'd got. My mother called me and I wasn't paying attention which caused me to speed. Right past a cop. When I told the cop where I was going, he started laughing at me. I now have another $300 ticket. FML

In my opinion the cop is a wimp. Instead of catching a crackhead, a murderer, or a rapist he goes after someone going 10 over the limit, the cop should go after people who are truly dangerous to society, espically if the said cop isn't going to pull over EVERYONE going over the limit. Don't get me wrong, the police are needed, I just don't think they always do what they should be doing. A guy driving 10 over the speed limit isn't dangerous, a crackhead breaking in and terrorizing a family because he needs money for his next fix is dangerous, yet if given a choice I'm betting most cops will go after the speeder because it's the easy job, and that sickens me. I hope this cops takes this ticket and remembers that his time could be better spent and the people better served by going after some drug addict or something

This is my favorite FML ever. There are two kinds of cops in the world, doesn't matter which country or city: those who are there to actually police (i.e. keep the gears of society turning smoothly, acting when necessary) and those who just have a chip on their shoulder and want to harrass as many people as possible. The latter kind are usually guys who got beat up a lot in high school. And are usually the ones who pull drivers over for going barely above a speed limit. Cops like you make for more work for the decent cops because many people assume you're all a bunch of assholes. Maybe that $250 fine will help you understand what kind of person you've been and you'll take the opportunity to improve your attitude.

This has to be fake because it's just too damn sweet. I don't care if they were both doing their jobs. I don't like cops (for the most part) and this made my favorites. Also, just because I feel like saying this whether it's rational or not, YDI. Lol!
