Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. I cried and told him that I loved him. He gave me a quarter and told me to call someone who cared. I threw the quarter in his face and ran. I waited for the bus, but when I got on, I realized I was 25 cents short of the fare. I walked home in the rain. FML

The long walk

Today, there was a huge storm. There were no buses, so I walked for an hour to see my boyfriend of two years, who (usually rather the unemotionally type) had called me, crying. When I got there soaking wet, he told me that he doesn't love me anymore, and it makes him sad. I had to walk back. FML

Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. As I left his house and began to drive away, I see him chasing after my car barefoot. I stop and roll down the window, ready to listen to the speech he has prepared to win me over with. He takes a moment to catch his breath and says "I want my cellphone back". FML

Even though I'm a girl, I'm going to have to take happyhak's side on this one. Most break-ups these days are the girls fault, and in this situation it's definitely not his fault hr didn't like you. The OP obviously overreacted at least he had the bravery to confront you and tell you he wanted to break up and you threw a f***ing quarter in his face? Either this is a fake or that girl's a bitch.
