Hurting over here

Today, I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. My dad helped me to the car so he could drive me to the hospital, but when he saw our neighbor, he went over and had a 15 minute screaming match with him over how his dog keeps shitting on our lawn, all while I sat in the car in agony. FML

Well on the bright side, at least you won't step in any dog poop after you heal...

How could he...! Let their dog shit in his yard? How inconsiderate of him. OH I mean yes inconsiderate for him leaving his hurt daughter in the car- hmm yes

This sounds like a personal problem.

All problems on FML are personal problems. That's the beauty of it.

Well, then. He's certainly got his priorities in order... -_-

Chocolate, it crunches the soul, reminding us of the morsels of fiber that make each day something to exhale about. What?!? This makes as much sense as your comment about the baby.

I think it's about time to stop using drugs, #34.

22- I think OP fell down accidentally, not purposely.

Broken bones heal, the vision of dog shit on your door does not!

Your dad is awesome, now you know you can handle 15 min of pain.

Surely you regretted not calling an ambulance. Sorry OP

Who calls an ambulance over a broken leg?? Unless that shit is in a W shape and bones are everywhere while you're bleeding to death, then you probably shouldn't call them. There are many people out there that could use their help more than one person with a broken leg. Not to mention it'll probably take 10 min to get there...

45, I called an ambulance when I broke my ankle. it was just me and my two year old son and I had no help at all. also, it may take 10 minutes to get there but they almost immediately give you pain medication. OP, I feel your pain. I was sitting on snow and ice for 20 min trying to corral a toddler until the ambulance arrived. I promise you are stronger than the pain. I won't lie, it's gonna suck, but you'll come out stronger than before.

Those are entirely different circumstances, sure if you're the only one there, call an ambulance. YOU would be one of the people who needed it since I hope no one tries to drive themselves to the hospital with a broken bone. But, calling an ambulance when someone is there who is perfectly capable of driving you there or just because you get a feel good shot when they get there is dogshit.
