Hurting over here

Today, I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. My dad helped me to the car so he could drive me to the hospital, but when he saw our neighbor, he went over and had a 15 minute screaming match with him over how his dog keeps shitting on our lawn, all while I sat in the car in agony. FML

Today, I fell down a set of stairs while going into my basement. With a horrible pain in my left leg, I called out to my boyfriend to help me. Apparently a commercial about grass was more important. FML

Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML

Today, my neighbor's dog bit me, it was extremely painful. The gash in my leg was deep and bleeding like crazy. When I finally got into my house screaming in agonizing pain, my mother said "Quit bitching, walk it off and you'll be fine." My leg is purple now. FML

Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML

Today, I heard my dad screaming in the hallway. Thinking he was having a heart attack I ran to the hall without looking where I was going. I slipped and slid towards my dad in what turned out to be a mass quantity of diarrhea from one of my two dogs. He was screaming because he stepped in it. FML

Today, as I was walking home, I saw an ambulance pull into my driveway with its sirens blaring. Thinking it could be for my sick father, I started frantically sprinting. I managed to trip on my pant-leg, twisting my ankle in the process. They were just turning around in my driveway. FML

This must be missing some sort of context, otherwise your dad's not very good at judging the gravitation of situations. somehow he finds dog poop more important than his child being hurt.

Okay, story time. Last June I broke my leg in a hard landing in motocross. (Didn't crash, just landed VERY hard) I went another 100 yards before I decided to pull over. Loaded up, and headed to the hospital. On the way I decided it was hungry/had to use the bathroom. Stopped at McDonalds, HOPPED ON ONE LEG through the restaurant to go to the bathroom/get in line to get food. Finally arrived at the hospital three hours later (and hopped through most of that on one leg as well). So it's safe to say that I know the pain (and have a heck of a pain tolerance). Hope ya heal quick. Vitamin D pills and milk help a good bit. I was in a walking boot a few months after the incident :)
