Today, the elevator got stuck in between floor 4 and 5 at my doctors office. I had been having violent diarrhea. It was the reason I was at the doctor. Elevator was stuck for 35 minutes. During that time, I diarrhea'd in my pants twice. There were seven other people in the elevator. FML

Today, I spent half-an-hour trapped inside my dog's crate. The door locked behind me as I squeezed myself inside to stroke her. After bellowing at my family in the garden for what felt like an eternity, they came through just to laugh and take pictures. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I wanted to kayak. On the way, I told him I had to go back to our hotel because I needed the bathroom and didn't want a public one to smell. Once back in the elevator at the hotel, it got stuck. For an hour. I pooped myself and had to wait 40 minutes after that for help. FML

I'm concerned that you were stuck for over an hour and nobody came to help?! ok so the cell phone might be jammed but I've seen in several movies that there are emergency exits on top of elevators, you could have done something!

Yeah, anyone who gets stuck in an elevator should definitely climb out through the man hole and into a dangerous space that they know nothing about. Oh, and don't forget your dog who has explosive diarrhea - pull him out too. You watch too many movies, go outside and see the real world.

I too am shocked op had to wait over an hour in a trapped elevator! What if there was a fire in the building or something? And isn't their a phone in the elevator to call for help? I would want to have a conversation with the super or whoever is in charge of the elevators in a case like this. Op could've been sick in there or any other number of things could've gone wrong. Freaky.
