I don't really see a problem either. It's just a gift, for ***** sake! And heart is just another symbol. Who cares. Now if this guy backed the gift up with a love confession, or gave her an engagement ring, then there would be a problem!

I don't see a problem either. It's just a necklace, and a heart is just a shape. I'd love a heart shaped necklace, or any shaped necklace, that one of my friends gave me. It's sentimental value.
