but no one says you have to keep it. take it for now to get the bills paid but keep looking
Do you, though? Do you have to take the job that lied to you and won't pay enough to live off of? I'd wager you were looking for a job when you found this one, so continuing the job search probably isn't that much of a burden. Best of luck finding somewhere that actually is worth your time.
