That was really stupid of you. You don't give a $200 necklace to a girl you just "like", especially with the attitude that she's going to want to date you as a result. I can sympathize with you in that it sucks when you know the girl has put you in the "friend zone" when you do believe you could be good together but she won't give it any consideration, but when you bought that for her expecting more than friendship appreciation you were trying to buy her love. Whether you were consciously thinking that or not, that's what you were trying to do.
words cannot express how much you deserved this. and you do NOT have any right to be angry at her for keeping the necklace. douchebag
Materialistic and useless crap. You wasted all of that money on something so stupid, all just to tell some chick you haven't even made an established commitment with that you feel something for her? Why didn't you just tell her and get rejected for free?
Oh dear, op when you "like" a girl and haven't told her of these feelings, YOU DON'T SPEND $200! YDI, next time make sure to have a girlfriend before you spend that amount of money. Oh and also you can get a cutsie diamond necklace for two hundred. I use to sell jewlery at Macy's for fashion and fine jewlery. My fiancée bought me a black and white diamond necklace that was in the shape of a panda bear holding bamboo for around $300 and it's really nice. Of course the key word being "fiancée"... So it could have been a fashion diamond piece of jewlery that is still nice.
Panda bears for the what? For the win!
Hehe, it's my favorite necklace!!
You're an idiot! You do not give $200 anything to "someone you like". She is not worth it anyways, because if she had any morals and ethics she would have refused it and explained she just wants to be friends! By the way, you cannot buy someone's love!
I don't know, surely it would have shown more of a lack of morals if she'd ****** him just because he bought her a costly gift?
WTF. You dont even give her a $25 gift after she's put out a few times. $200? Thats like a month of her getting butt sex from you. At least. Wow. YDI. Dumb ****. wow.

Imagine how much pussy you could've gotten for those 200$ at a strip club. Just sayin'.
