Well, it looks like you're gonna get stuck with a ticket because of some other asshole, but I guess you can sort of take a little bit of heart in the fact that it seems to have been an honest mistake on the part of the cop.
I say BS...to get PASSED by this speed demon going 90MPH you would have had to have gotten ahead of it at some point thus going faster. If the cop was sitting under a bridge for instance its impossible for it to know an identical car is coming down the road without seeing both pass it speeding. Unless the car stopped and got gas you wouldn't have gotten ahead going the speed limit. The cop would have pulled them over long before them anyway.
no actually it says in the FML that the person driving fast had passed OP before the cop pulled her (yes i'm assuming this is a woman driver) over so.....that makes you a ***** i mean am i right? your shit's WEAK
"I say BS...to get PASSED by this speed demon going 90MPH you would have had to have gotten ahead of it at some point thus going faster." Not necessarily, just because the OP was ahead of the other car to begin with, doesn't mean the OP had to speed to get there. The OP may have been on the road before the other car, turned onto the road from another street etc.
Have you ever driven on a highway before?
false
Hotmodel1234 you have it all wrong. This "silver car" was obviously driving so fast that it went back in time, causing said car to pass OP again. Hope I cleared things up for you.
Umm...no. There's no way an officer/deputy/trooper would pull you over MINUTES after the suspect car passed him or her. Stop speeding.
Cops often post up on the side of highways to catch speeders. If they are stopped, then they have to catch up with the car that they see speed past. It is not uncommon for this to take a couple of minutes. Besides, the OP only said that the speeding car had passed them (the OP) minutes before, not passed the cop minutes before. There may have been a delay before they both passed the cop, who would have then got on the highway and tried to catch up with the first car they saw that looked like the speeding one, which would be the OP since the OP was behind the speeder.
Are you kidding? The only reason people become cops is because they value power over money. You think any normal American would risk their life for 30k a year without getting a little something extra from it? Cops are dicks - not because it's the nature of the job, but because it's the nature of the man who would take such a job. Traffic cops are the worst. They're tax collectors with a gun, handcuffs, and a huge chip on their shoulders. Go find a real crime, piggie, and stay out of my wallet.
stupid cop! ahh fyl dude but shit like this happens to everyone
I don't think so. In Kansas, 20 miles over the speed limit is a $155 fine. http://www.opkansas.org/_Gov/Municipal_Court/Traffic/speeding.cfm

take it to court, you could easily dispute your way out of it.
You could take it to court. Cop cars have a camera in the front windsheild and you could prove it wasnt your car with the license plate.
