I see everyone likes to shit bricks in here. xD The Mom was a B. But I probably would say the same thing, maye not as rude, to my kid, just to steer them away from having one. Though I have multiple tattoo's and piercings my self. I think this falls into the catigory of: Have YOUR parents ever disaproved of YOU getting a tattoo or something, even though YOU thought it would be awesome? >Well NOW you know why. xD

This argument between everyone is getting LONG. Try this: I like girls with piercings. The only stereotype I've seen that seems to hold somewhat true is that the preppy girls get drunk and sleep around with everyone whereas the girls with piercings seem to feel a little self conscious about the way they look and do not sleep around NEAR as much. People don't always get piercings to shock everyone, some get them because they simply like them. Much like a preppy guy/girl spends $100 on a pair of jeans because they have holes in them, haha. And by the way, I am a Christian and my political beliefs are that of a Conservative Republican, and I have had a total of 12 piercings or so. I've never smoked pot, and have gotten drunk only a few times. That sure ruins a stereotype for everyone huh...

I personally think nose piercings are bad ideas, but even if she thinks your parents were somehow wrong, that still has nothing to do with their love.
